Suzanne Jen is a Taiwanese jazz vocalist recognized for her profound storytelling and exceptional linguistic versatility. A graduate of National Taiwan University’s Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, Jen has lived in France and Germany and is a rare talent in the Chinese jazz scene who is fluent in five languages: Mandarin, English, French, German, and Spanish. Her background as a trained musical theater performer allows her to bring a deep, nuanced emotional expression to her music, which spans jazz, pop, rock, and musical theater genres. In 2019, she was awarded first place in the 5th "Jazz Up" competition in Taiwan. Currently based between Taipei and Hong Kong, Jen is highly active in the Asian jazz circuit, frequently collaborating with esteemed musicians such as Eugene Pao, Teriver Cheung, Kerong Chok, Jezrael Lucero, Scott Dodd, Nicholas Bouloukos, Alan Kwan, Patrick Lui, Wong Tak Chung, Yuji Yoshimine, Ami Fukui, Chihiro Murata, Hope Yeh, and Fish Huang. Beyond her vocal career, Jen is a multi-faceted professional whose expertise extends to commercial voice acting, multilingual hosting, and professional translation and interpretation.
