Reggae music encompasses a vast array of sub-genres, from rock steady and ska to lovers rock. With origins spanning from Jamaica to London and Ethiopia, these styles share a common thread: they are rooted in a primordial form of dance music. The Dub & Roots Collective is a collaborative project featuring some of Taiwan’s most seasoned reggae musicians. The ensemble performs beloved vintage dance tunes alongside modern hits reimagined with a reggae vibe, occasionally infusing the set with infectious 'danceable dub.' Experience the irresistible syncopated grooves and deep rhythms that define this soulful collective.
