Established in 1997, the Jazz Meta Band (JMB) is a cornerstone of the Taiwanese jazz scene, dedicated to both performance and jazz education. With over two decades of history, the ensemble has graced the stages of numerous major local and international jazz festivals. Their journey has evolved from mastering classic jazz standards to developing original compositions that fuse local musical elements. Known for their maturity, interconnectedness, and refined musicality, the Jazz Meta Band delivers a sophisticated and soulful performance every Friday night at Blue Note Taipei.
