Chicago-born drummer and versatile musician Adam James Sorensen has built a global career, with residencies spanning New York, Edinburgh, Salt Lake City, Berlin, and Taipei. A seasoned percussionist, Sorensen has toured extensively across the United States and internationally. In the jazz idiom, he frequently performs in a trio format, notably collaborating with pianist Andrew Page and double bassist Liu Yu-Chia (Jack). Drawing from his rich experience living and performing in cultural hubs worldwide, Sorensen brings a diverse and profound perspective to his music.
