Brussels-educated bassist and composer influenced by Stéphane Galland. A versatile performer on double and electric bass, he has worked with John Clayton and is currently the Music Director of the Jazz Dog Club in Taiwan.
A graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with a Master’s degree in Jazz Performance, specializing in double bass. During his time in Europe, he was profoundly influenced by the renowned drummer Stéphane Galland. His compositions, characterized by a rich tapestry of musical colors, have earned high praise from esteemed European masters such as Diederik Wissels and Kris Defoort. In early 2019, he served as the bassist for legendary jazz bassist John Clayton’s big band project, receiving direct mentorship from the master himself. Currently a prominent figure in the Taiwanese music scene, he is a frequent performer at the Taipei and Taichung Jazz Festivals and is active in various studio recordings. Proficient in both double bass and electric bass, he serves as a jazz faculty member at the National Taichung University of Education and Chingshui Senior High School. He is currently the Music Director of the Jazz Dog Club.
