Musa (Martin Musaubach), also known as 明馬丁, is a world-class pianist and composer from Argentina. To date, he has released three studio albums and one live album. His debut album, "3690," released in October 2013, was famously sponsored by the renowned piano brand Bösendorfer, which provided a custom Model 214 for his recordings in Taiwan. Following the release, he toured extensively across South America and East Asia, including Japan, China, and Taiwan. Between 2015 and 2017, Musa was invited to perform at the official Légère Jazz Jam at the Winter NAMM Show in Los Angeles, sharing the stage with Grammy-nominated artists such as Gerald Albright, George Garzone, and Jeff Kashiwa. In 2016, he released his second album, "All Kinds of Good," which received eight nominations and awards across the Golden Melody Awards (GMA) and Golden Indie Music Awards (GIMA) in 2017. He won "Best Jazz Album" and "Best Musician," making him the first Western musician to receive these honors. The album also garnered multiple international music awards. During his Japan tour, he visited over 10 cities and headlined the Tokyo Ikebukuro Jazz Festival. In 2018, his collaboration with the Cuban jazz band Soy La Ley on the single "Dreamer’s Blues" won the "Best Jazz Single of the Year" award. He was a featured performer at the Taipei Jazz Festival and Taichung Jazz Festival for three consecutive years from 2016 to 2018. In 2021, Musa released his latest album, "ON," a fusion of electronic music, jazz, R&B, hip-hop, and South American rhythms. The project featured international vocalists from South Africa, Kenya, and Trinidad, as well as collaborations with Taiwanese artists 9m88 and ABAO. "ON" was nominated for Best Instrumental Album at the Golden Melody Awards and received four nominations at the Golden Indie Music Awards, winning "Best Jazz Single" and "Best Musician." He also headlined the MOOD INDIGO festival in Mumbai, India, representing Taiwan.
