Shawna Yang is a prominent jazz musician currently active in Taiwan. Over the years, she has made significant contributions to the jazz scene, performing alongside world-class musicians such as Alex Sipiagin, Eric Richards, Eric Marienthal, and Paul Haar from the United States; Koichi Osamu, Daiki Yasukagawa, and Naoko Tanaka from Japan; the Swedish trio MusicMusicMusic; and the Austrian band Tuesday Microgroove. Her performances have spanned across Taiwan, Mainland China, Japan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Macau, Sweden, and Austria. Her solo jazz album "Simple Life" received seven nominations at the Golden Indie Music Awards and the Golden Melody Awards, ultimately winning "Best Instrumental Album" at the 27th Golden Melody Awards.
