Sudin Nidus is a Malaysian drummer active in the contemporary music scene. He was a featured musician in the production "Dondang Dongeng," a creative project that retells classic Malaysian folktales—such as "Bawang Merah Bawang Putih," "Puteri Gunung Ledang," and "Batu Belah Batu Bertangkup"—through modern musical arrangements. Working under creative director Melina William and music director Irena Taib, Sudin provided the rhythmic foundation for a diverse ensemble that blended modern songwriting with traditional Malaysian instrumentation, including the gambus, rebana, accordion, and sapeh. His work in this production involved collaborating with a wide range of local talents, including composers Mia Palencia and Irena Taib, to bridge the gap between traditional heritage and modern sensibilities for a new generation of listeners.
