Born in Hokkaido, Japan, Takeda Risa is a versatile musician who seamlessly integrates her roles as a pianist, drummer, composer, and improviser. Her musical journey began with classical piano at the age of three, followed by her initiation into drumming during her university years. Since relocating to Tokyo in April 2011, she has established a formidable presence in the experimental music scene, actively participating in blues, jazz, and improvisational sessions. Her stylistic range spans free improvisation, Brutal Prog, and electronic Glitch Pop. Takeda's discography includes solo works such as 'Parallel World,' 'Metéôros,' '神無月の印象,' and '魔術師の城.' Her profound improvisational depth is further evidenced in collaborations like 'YGGDRASILL' with Yoshida Tatsuya, the duo 'TORIKABUTSU' with Hachiya Maki, and 'CHILLOUT EXTREME' with Mani Neumeier.
