About This Event

JHOUSE PRESENTS "Dream Room" is an immersive sensory experience that seamlessly blends jazz music, the craft of mixology, and spatial narrative. In collaboration with U.I.J Hotel & Hostel, known for its design aesthetics, the event transforms the concept of an "ideal room" into a physical auditory theater centered on the theme of "returning to oneself." A highlight of the program is the innovative musicalization of mixology sounds, where 2023 World Class Taiwan Champion bartender 小綠 (Liu Guan-lin) and New York-based jazz musician Jack Huang translate the sounds of shakers and ice into live improvisational rhythms. The second half, curated by the JHOUSE team and 爵犬 Joe Trane, evolves into a dreamlike jazz party, inviting guests to explore their inner selves through the flow of sound, scent, and movement.
