Are you ready for a high-energy jazz night? The Tseng Tsung-Lin Quartet pays tribute to three of the most influential masters in jazz history: Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, and Horace Silver. From the infectious rhythmic drive of Horace Silver to the avant-garde grooves of Herbie Hancock and the bright, intricate lines of Chick Corea, Tseng Tsung-Lin leads his quartet through a performance of intense improvisation and seamless chemistry. This is a night of pure, heart-hitting jazz dialogue. [Musicians] ━ Tseng Tsung-Lin | Piano & Keyboards ━ A 21-year-old rising star who began teaching himself jazz at 14. His versatile style spans Bebop, Hard Bop, Funk, R&B, and Neo Soul. He is a regular at major venues like Blue Note and Riverside. ━ Li Cheng-Yuan | Bass ━ A jazz student at NDHU and silver medalist at the 2019 Taichung Jazz Festival. He has performed with masters like Rich Huang and Hsieh Yu-wei. ━ Fang Chun-Po | Drums ━ A drummer with a background in social work, currently specializing in jazz at NDHU, bringing a unique perspective to the rhythm section.
