For their 2026 Taiwan Tour, Tokyo’s premier free jazz pianist Suga Dairo and his trio 'new little one'—featuring guitarist Tokutaro Hosoi and drumming prodigy Shu Akimoto—reunite with Taiwan’s leading free jazz saxophonist, Minyen Hsieh. This marks their fourth collaboration in Taiwan. Their 2023 album, 'Our Waning Love,' received critical acclaim in both Taiwan and Japan, winning Best Jazz Song at the 15th Golden Indie Music Awards (GIMA). Since 2022, the quartet has performed over 30 shows across the region, including notable appearances at the Taichung Jazz Festival and the Taiwan International Improvised Music Festival.
