Japanese vocalist Adachi Fuyuko and Taiwanese pianist YanNi reunite for a special performance born from a deep musical friendship. This concert features a sophisticated blend of jazz standards, pop hits, and a curated selection of nostalgic J-Drama theme songs, inviting the audience to revisit cherished memories through evocative melodies. Kyoto-based Adachi Fuyuko brings a voice that balances explosive power with soulful sensitivity, drawing from her extensive experience in the indie and punk scenes (L.A.SQUASH). She is joined by YanNi, a graduate of TNNUA’s jazz performance program, who has studied under masters like Peng Yu-wen and Andy Jaffe. Together, they create a seamless musical dialogue that bridges cultures and genres.
