Go Go Machine Orchestra presents "Call of Sound" at WiJazz, Kaohsiung Music Center on April 18, 2026. This special concert features the world premiere of several new compositions, including "Shuten-doji" (inspired by Japanese legend), the primal and tense "Ugly Beast," and "Legend of the White Deer," rooted in the imagery of Sun Moon Lake. The performance features special guest percussionist Wu Cheng-chun, joining the core ensemble of piano, flute, shamisen, and world drums. By blending minimalist structures with improvisational, avant-garde, and folk energies, the orchestra constructs an immersive experience focused entirely on sound and sensory perception, transcending the need for visual accompaniment.
