A classically trained violinist and Fu Jen Catholic University Jazz Master, she blends technical precision with improvisational freedom. Founder of the award-winning 'Soul Tropical Fish,' she currently performs with 'Interestring Quartet' and 'Mosaic Quintet' across Taiwan.
Trained in classical music since childhood, she graduated from the Department of Music at National Kaohsiung Normal University. Her journey into jazz began during high school through a jazz combo course, where she became captivated by the genre's diverse and improvisational nature. This passion led her to earn a Master’s degree in Jazz Performance from Fu Jen Catholic University. Throughout her career, she has contributed to string recordings for singles and film scores, as well as performing in numerous concerts. Her performance footprint spans prominent venues such as Sappho Live Jazz, Rhythm Scape, Stunner Taipei, Revolver, Riverside Live House, Jiang Shan Yi Gai Suo, Words, and Blue Fantasy. In 2022, she founded the band 'Soul Tropical Fish' (靈魂熱帶魚), which performed at the Taichung Jazz Festival and won the Most Popular Band award. She is currently the violinist for 'Soul Tropical Fish,' 'Interestring Quartet' (玩弦四度), and 'Mosaic Quintet' (鑲嵌畫五重奏).
