Malaysian drummer Jared Cheow is a prominent figure in the Kuala Lumpur music scene. Influenced by masters like Vinnie Colaiuta, he combines technical mastery with a passion for education, performing regularly while mentoring the next generation.
Jared Cheow is a dedicated drummer who began his musical journey at the age of 10. Driven by a deep passion for the instrument, his playing style has been shaped by the influence of master drummers such as Vinnie Colaiuta and Matt Garstka. His formal education includes completing Grade 8 at Rock School in 2005 and obtaining a Certificate in Music Theory from ASWARA in 2006. Based in Malaysia, Jared is an active participant in the Kuala Lumpur music scene, where he performs regularly. In addition to his work as a performer, he is a committed educator, currently serving as a drum instructor at Major Music Academy, where he shares his technical expertise and musical insights with students.
