Nelson Fung is a Hong Kong-based double bassist active in the regional jazz and experimental music scenes. He has collaborated with notable artists including pianist Ted Lo and vocalist Sherine, performing in various live settings. Fung is also recognized for his contributions to improvisational and experimental music, notably participating in the Freespace Jazz Fest's Experimental Lab at the West Kowloon Cultural District. During these sessions, he has performed in mixed constellations alongside musicians such as Vic Tsui, Tsui Chin-hung, and Longman Luk, exploring the intersection of jazz, sound art, and contemporary music.
