王劭威

Shao-Wei Wang is a professional jazz drummer and a graduate of the Jazz Performance program at the Department of Applied Music, Tainan National University of the Arts. During his studies, he honed his craft under the mentorship of esteemed musicians including Peng Yu-wen, Tseng Tseng-yi, Liao Po-chun, Chuck Payne, and Fish Huang, developing a deep foundation in jazz theory, ensemble dynamics, and drum set technique. In recent years, he has become a fixture on the jazz scene, performing across major stages and demonstrating exceptional proficiency in rhythmic precision and collaborative coordination.
