Representing the vibrant new generation of the New York City jazz scene, the JSQ Trio features Taiwanese vibraphonist Jack Huang, Japanese bassist Shuji Watanabe, and American drummer Quinton Cain. The three musicians met during their studies at the Manhattan School of Music and have since become active figures in the NYC jazz circuit. Their collective performance credits include prestigious venues such as Dizzy’s Club (Jazz at Lincoln Center), Smalls Jazz Club, Birdland, and the Kennedy Center. Shaped by the diverse creative environment and cross-cultural collaborations of New York, the trio brings a fresh and dynamic energy to the stage, blending sophisticated improvisation with deep musical synergy.
