Tokyo-based multi-instrumentalist and improviser Takeda Risa makes her Taiwan debut! For this special performance at Jazzhead, she is joined by acclaimed saxophonist Minyen Hsieh and ambient electronic artist Nick Tsai. Unlike other stops on the tour, this Taichung session focuses on the raw textures of electronic music, utilizing modular synthesizers and inorganic logic gates to create a unique sonic landscape. Takeda Risa, a classically trained pianist who later mastered the drums and synthesizers, is known for her sharp intuition and ability to summon the perfect sound in the moment. Experience a boundary-pushing collaboration that blends jazz improvisation with experimental electronic music.
