About This Event
For jazz musicians, the duo is the simplest yet most challenging form of performance. With only two musicians on stage, they must rely entirely on each other's musicality and the sounds within their own minds. While the reduced instrumentation makes the music easier to parse, creating the richness and variety found in a trio or quartet is significantly more difficult—this is precisely what makes the duo so captivating.
