He began his musical journey at the age of twelve and was largely self-taught before receiving a scholarship to the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. There, he studied under world-renowned musicians including John Moulder, Neal Alger, Henry Johnson, Paul Wertico, and Scott Mason. After spending five years as a professional musician in Chicago, he relocated to Hong Kong, where he has become an indispensable artist within the Lamma Studios collective.
