Fountain continues its mission to introduce exceptional jazz talent from around the world. This performance features the Sean Zhang Quartet, led by the esteemed "Doctor" of jazz guitar, Sean Zhang. A graduate of the Würzburg University of Music (Doctorate) and the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master's), Sean is a seasoned performer on the international festival circuit, including appearances in Brussels, Milan, and Guangzhou. He is joined by an elite ensemble: bassist Bozun Zhang, a Master's graduate from Codarts Rotterdam who performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival; saxophonist Jacky Liu, a post-graduate from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels active in the Greater Bay Area; and Umberto Odone, a distinguished jazz drum instructor active in Italy and Belgium.
