[Jazz Signature: Teriver Cheung x Bowen Li] A graduate of the University of North Texas in jazz performance, guitarist Teriver Cheung spent several years honing his craft in the New York jazz scene before returning to Hong Kong. As a performer and curator, he has been instrumental in shaping the city's contemporary jazz landscape, bridging international experience with local practice. Teriver’s playing is rooted in tradition, prioritizing sonic texture, melodic lines, and spontaneous interaction over mere technical display. In this special duo performance, Teriver joins forces with pianist Bowen Li to explore a repertoire of jazz standards and original compositions, navigating the delicate balance between the familiar and the unknown.
