Tonight, where's the jazz?

Jeremy Monteiro, Teriver Cheung, Ben Scholz Trio
Singapore's jazz legend Jeremy Monteiro joins forces with Hong Kong guitarist Teriver Cheung and American drummer Ben Scholz for a rare trio performance at Fountain de Chopin. This exceptional collaboration brings together three masters from across Asia, America, and Europe to perform a selection of jazz standards and original compositions. Jeremy Monteiro is one of Asia's most iconic jazz pianists. With a career spanning nearly 50 years, he has performed over 8,000 shows and released 50 albums. A recipient of Singapore’s Cultural Medallion, he has graced stages at the Montreux and London Jazz Festivals. Teriver Cheung is a globally recognized Hong Kong guitarist and composer. After years in the New York scene, he returned to Hong Kong to lead significant projects like "Episodes" and "Night & Day," fostering collaborations between jazz and other art forms. Ben Scholz, a Portland-based drummer and USC graduate, has collaborated with luminaries such as Roy Hargrove, Oz Noy, and Buddy Guy, bringing his extensive recording and performance experience to this one-night-only event.
