In a band, the guitarist is like a basketball Point Guard, driving the team forward and scoring points. Hailing from the "Windy City" of Chicago, Geoff King Luk brings a musical style as free and unpredictable as the wind. Heavily influenced by Funk, Soul, Blues, Jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop, Rock Fusion, Experimental, and New Age music, Geoff has established himself as one of Hong Kong's most sought-after performing guitarists since relocating in 2016. He has performed with international and local artists including Horizon, Aga, Tien Chong, and Alex Lam. For this performance, he joins forces with two stalwarts of the Hong Kong jazz scene, drummer Nate Wong and bassist Scott Dodd. Together as the Geoff King Luk Trio, they will execute a musical "triangle offense" that promises to be both dynamic and soulful.
