Chris Carpio, a pianist and educator, focuses on harmonic structure and fluid musicality, providing a versatile foundation for the ensemble. Bernard Carpio, an accomplished saxophonist and flautist, brings a solid, introspective style that balances melody with rhythmic drive, having performed on numerous international jazz stages. Vocalist Rosalie Carpio, trained in Melbourne and seasoned by international tours, is known for her clear diction and sophisticated, understated interpretations of jazz standards across multiple languages. This performance centers on a trio dialogue, exploring the depths of melody and rhythm through spontaneous interaction.
