In a band, the guitarist is much like a basketball team's point guard—leading the charge, setting the pace, and scoring. Hailing from the Windy City of Chicago (sharing the same city roots as Michael Jordan), guitarist Geoff King Luk creates music that is as free, uninhibited, and unpredictable as the wind itself. Heavily influenced by Funk, Soul, Blues, Jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop, Rock Fusion, Experimental, and New Age music, Geoff's unique musical sensibilities have made him one of the most in-demand performing guitarists in Hong Kong since relocating from Chicago in 2016. He has performed with various international and local artists, including Horizon, Aga, Tien Chong, and Alex Lam. On May 22, Geoff will be joined by two pillars of the Hong Kong jazz scene: drummer Nate Wong and bassist Scott Dodd.
